Resource of the Week
Master Adobe Portfolio
Adobe Portfolio is one of the most popular portfolio website platforms but I continue to see designers and creatives struggle with how to use it. So I decided to spend a whole weekend messing around with it to better understand how you can use this platform to build a stunning portfolio website and get more opportunities in your inbox.
- Creating an engaging case study design for your projects.
- Designing your Adobe Portfolio homepage.
- Saving time by using text styles.
- Navigating Adobe Portfolio's interface.
- Effectively using the SEO features within Adobe Portfolio.
- Syncing projects between Behance and Adobe Portfolio.

Something Gorgeous
Nuevepies Monochromatic Pool Tables
Funny enough I have been playing a lot of pool while on my travels through South-east Asia and I have seen some pretty beat-up pool tables. So you can imagine how refreshing it was to see such an aesthetically pleasing pool table such as one of these by Nuevepies. While I doubt I would ever see one of these in the bars I've frequented here in SE Asia, I know somewhere in the world there is someone with a lot of money and an appetite for well-designed pool tables.
Portfolio Of The Week
Elena Kudriavtseva
Elena is a motion designer, animal lover, and perpetual dreamer with over 10 years of experience and I love her portfolio website. Tons of movement and micro-interactions! While I may not be as familiar with the motion design world as Elena, this is exactly what I would expect from a motion designer's portfolio website. Everything on Elena's portfolio website feels considered from the loading screen animation, to the custom cursor, and scroll interactions throughout her homepage. I'm also a big fan of the keyframe graphics she included in the header of her portfolio website.
Portfolio Rating: 7.9/10

Creative Finds
Glassdoor by Koto
A somewhat controversial rebrand done by Koto Studio but mark my words, this is one of the biggest design trends of 2023.
Jell-O by BrandOpus
The first packaging redesign in over a decade for the jiggly brand and from the looks of it, I don't see them needing another one for a while.
Panarama by Futura
A beautiful tropical storefront created for Panarama by Futura in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
One Gram
Ai Illustrated Digital Worlds
@Radstream is an account I recently followed and have to say, I'm quite delighted every time I see one of his posts. He creates these wonderful illustrated environments using Ai. When I see accounts or creators like this, I tend to wonder what they are using for their prompts. I mean call me crazy but I would definitely say that there is some Studio Ghibli influence going on here.
One Lesson
Never Underestimate a DM
I am a big advocate of the virtual introduction when it comes to finding new clients. Whether that is on LinkedIn, TikTok, or Instagram, it is one of my main methods of finding potential clients and a method I see a lot of creatives overlooking. Whenever I find an interesting company or brand, I almost immediately send them a direct message simply introducing myself. Why? Because I want to get on their radar. Sure they may not have work immediately available, but whose to say they won't in a few months? And when that happens hopefully I'll be top of mind.
I'm sorry to keep this week's lesson short but I've caught the dreadful "bali belly" first week back in Bali 🙃
