A Juicy Note For You

Welcome back to another week of the newly updated Creative Juice newsletter. This one is going out a little later today because I am in client search mode. I know I sent out a note over the weekend asking if you were looking to get paid more from your clients, and I spoke with a few designers and subscribers of the newsletter to get a better understanding of what they are struggling with. I mentioned that I am also considering creating a community design where we will keep each other accountable, but also where you can follow along as I go through the process of hunting down clients, delivering work, and trying to actually build a business that doesn't involve a one-to-one hand-to-hand combat design career.

If you're interested in that, send me a reply, and this way I know that you would like to join the community once I launch it.

Portfolio of the Week

An Agency Portfolio Website that Champions Webflow

DivBlockers

I really like this website from DivBlockers because of how it's organized. After the header, they start with their completed projects, mentioning many big names from various industries. Next is the client section, which shows the quality of their work. Then, there's a testimonial section with great images of partners and founders they've worked with. This really proves how good their work is.

Below that, there's an "About" section that tells us about the team and what they're doing now. The service section explains their process using Webflow and how they support teams over time. There's also a frequently asked questions section. The website ends with a call to action in the footer.

Each section has great details that keep you interested. The design is simple and hints at Webflow's visual language, which I like. I think this agency wants to work with companies that really care about design. If you want to work with design-focused companies, there's a lot you can learn from this portfolio website.

Score: 9.3/10
