A Juicy Note For You

A Juicy Note For You

I want to quickly share an update on some of the things I'm working on. I previously mentioned that I was putting together a course on how to write sexy design case studies, and while I'm still considering publishing that course, I'm now shifting gears to turn it into a more user-friendly generator. I'm definitely the type of person who falls into having too many ideas at once and trying to work on them simultaneously. I'm trying to avoid that in 2025, but I figured I'd share this with you anyway. I'm also working on a few client projects and a personal Framer website template that I hope to share soon. If you're stuck or working on some cool things, feel free to send me a reply. I'd love to hear about it.

Portfolio of the Week

Putting The Personality in Portfolio Website

Victor Antonov

Victor Antonov

Victor Antonov, a designer and art director based in Spain, has a lovely portfolio website. The visual direction of the site is impressive, with excellent use of typography and layout. Victor seems to believe that typography can be art, as seen in his selected clients section.

While Victor includes a sample section of his work, I find his writing and thoughts more interesting. This is becoming more important as technology improves. Tools like image generation and AI website builders give creatives more chances to use their unique thinking, which Victor shows by including his writing in his sample section.

Below the sample section, Victor has what looks like a services section. Instead of just listing services with descriptions and prices, he explains how he'll help clients with their specific problems. For example, he says, "I can help assemble a team and build a design culture" or "I can adapt your brand's visual language to the digital space."

Lastly, I appreciate Victor's use of personal imagery and video, like him riding a bike or spinning around. These personal touches make his portfolio website more enjoyable to view.

Score: 8.3/10
