Resource of the Week
Motion.Ed
I have gotten a lot of questions lately about animation and motion on my recent TikTok posts and thought this resource developed by digital design studio Zajno was perfect to share.
Motion.ed is a website that will teach all about the principles of motion design and how you can apply them to your next client or portfolio website. Not only did Zajno did an amazing job presenting all of the topics in a very simple and clear way for you to understand. The site is also designed and developed in a way that applies the principles as examples throughout the site as you can continue to scroll and dig deeper into the information.
Towards the end of Motion.ed you will find additional resources for examples of these motion principles in the wild on other sites as well as courses you can enroll in to take your learnings even further.
Make sure you check out the amazing work by Zajno here.

Something Gorgeous
Mini Moog Factory
What can I say? I love electronic music and the last couple of SG's for this newsletter have been examples of just that. This week I am happy to share a wonderful virtual experience created by renowned design studio Pentagram, development partner Counterpoint, and Moog Music.
Together they have created a virtual museum celebrating the Minimoog Model D as well as Bob Moog's birthday. Each room of the museum brings you deeper into the history and wide usage of the iconic synthesizer through different applications such as Instagram face filters, a build your own synth room, a jukebox room, and more.
The project is beautifully illustrated by Roby Pybus and sound design by Pentagram partner Yuri Suzuki making this virtual museum one of my favorite Something Gorgeous for Creative Juice.
Portfolio Of The Week
Self Aware Studio
Looking for an interesting way to present your design projects on your portfolio website homepage?
Self Aware is a digital design studio based out of Philadelphia bringing brands to life on the web. I specifically love how the studio has chosen to preview the projects they've completed on their homepage by showing multiple images rather than the standard big header image or fancy masonry grid.
Furthermore, I love their case study pages. More and more as I continue to review portfolio websites from graphic designers, I continue to recommend having more than just an overview description on their project pages. Self Aware is a great example of how just 2 additional pieces of copy can convey a strong sense of mastery and expertise within your portfolio website.
Portfolio Rating: 8.3/10
Self Aware's website is built using a custom product but can easily be replicated in Webflow or Framer.

Creative Finds
Pok Ai Home Planner by Andrew Chornomorets
Concept Ai project alert! Designer Andrew Chornomorets has created an app concept that uses Ai to help solve his problem of always wanting to change the interior layout of his apartment. I love how minimal he has made the Ui and especially love his room scanner feature for the app.
Wisl Brand Identity by Andstudio
Not all wordmarks are created equal and this one for Wisl by andstudio grabbed my eyes immediately. Also the concept of the product is great, it's like Tinder for athletic people.
Aimed Brand Identity by HuskyFox
I thought this identity might have been for a top secret government agency somewhere in the world. While that might not be the case, I give credit for the badass looking direction and supporting materials such as the motion package and iconography included in this brand identity.
ONE TOK
Big Brother Tram is Watching You
I have always said, put illustrated eyes on real life objects and you win and this big brother tram by Ricky Doodles just made me laugh out loud.
One Thing I Learned
Something New Coming Soon
This week I shared a video on my TikTok about a design for a portfolio website I have been working on as a result of the 100+ portfolio reviews I've done over the last couple of months.
I wanted to take the opportunity to share it with you here.
I'm calling this design 'Front Page' as it is inspired by the classic design and layouts of early newspapers. I have been working on this design for the last couple of weeks and while it's not quite done I am hoping to share it with you all very soon.
I wanted to create something that could give designers and creatives a head start when it comes to their job search as I see a lot of people struggling in this area.
I have also been working on making updates to my website and thought it would be cool to get your eyes on some updates I have in mind for the homepage.
I will keep you updated as this get's closer to being finished.
P.S - Let me know what you think of the designs and if you have any notes on things that can be improved or you would like to see, feel free to send me a reply here.
